Good Samaritan's Mission
Samaritan Counseling Center is a Christian ministry serving Northern Alaska to bring about mental, emotional and spiritual growth.
Our Mission is:
- To recognize and affirm the value of every person as a child of God.
- To provide high quality services to the greatest number of persons possible.
- To serve persons from varied financial means while maintaining a reputation for providing high quality service regardless of one’s financial station*.
- To ensure continued service by achieving and maintaining wellbeing and quality of life for all staff.
- To provide educational resources for the community.
- To provide consultation and training for clergy and other professionals.
* Medication management and testing services are to be paid for in full at time of service, unless acceptable insurance is verified. Insurance filing is done as a courtesy.
